Mornington Peninsula, Victoria
"The 2022 Onannon Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir comprises fruit from Tuerong (40%), Main Ridge (15%), Red Hill South (25%) and Merricks (20%). The ferments included 50% whole bunches and the fruit spent an average of 25 days on skins. The wine was matured in French oak barrels (10% new).
Red fruits dominate the vibrant nose with some Turkish delight and twiggy spices. The palate is rich with red and blue fruit that moves through the fine-grained tannins, finishing with some spice." - Will Byron, Onannon
